

The largest music competition in Illinois - The Granquist Music Competition is presented as part of the Geneva, Illinois Swedish Days - A Midsommar Festival June 22-27, 2010, and hosted by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
The Granquist Tradition established in 1970 by Herb Granquist - a dedicated music educator - promotes music performance, competition and education. It is now one of the largest music contests in the State of Illinois, and has a reputation for excellence in judging and performance.
The 40th Annual Music Competition will be on Saturday, June 26, 2010, 8:00 a.m. at Geneva Community High School, 416 McKinley Avenue, Geneva, Illinois.
Entry Deadline
Registration is now closed for 2010.
Olympic Concert - Public Invited
First place Olympic level recipients will perform at a premiere free concert/contest. The winners of this event receive scholarship money. The public is cordially invited to attend. Admission is free; however, donations are welcome.
